Afternoon all,
What a busy week it has been in nursery! We have started our focus
task activities, which we call a ‘bubble task’. These have been linked to the
story ‘The Little Red Hen’. Ask your children about the story and encourage
them to tell you what we have been up to in school.
A big thank you to those who have brought in the ‘All about me!’
learning task. The children have loved bringing them in and discussing their
posters. They are now taking pride place on a wall display. If you are yet to
complete this task, please send the poster in by Friday 11th
October.
We had our first walk around the school grounds on Thursday. The
children absolutely loved exploring the grounds and had great fun splashing in
the muddy puddles down in the forest. We had lots of mucky socks and feet when
we got back to class! We will be visiting the forest regularly and in all
weathers so please make sure your child has a spare pair of clothes, including
socks in their school bag. We also have a pair of pink wellies with no name. If
they belong to your child can you let us know so we can pop a name on the
inside?
Letters went home today with information regarding the school
photos. These will be taking place on Wednesday.
Next week we will be carrying out seasonal activities linked to autumn.
I love teaching the different seasons and I am looking forward to another
exciting week of learning!
Have a fabulous weekend, thank you all for your continued support.
See you next week,
Mrs Tucker
