Land Ahoy

A very big welcome back to the summer term! This year has flown by; we are in the last term of the academic year already! Let hope the summer is kind to us and we can enjoy the sunshine.

Our topic for this term is ‘Land Ahoy’, one of my favourites to teach! We will be learning all about Pirates, the seaside and the seasons spring and summer. We will also be planting in the school allotment and spending lots of time outdoors.

Lots of the nursery children will now be staying for full-time education. They will have a choice of either a packed lunch or school dinner at a cost of £2.40. Please let your child know what they are having for dinner in the morning so they are able to answer the dinner register correctly. They will need to be dropped off at 8.57 AM and picked up at 3.30 PM from the infant yard on the door that is closest to the nursery yard. There will always be a familiar face on the door to welcome the children.

A P.E kit will also be needed for the Full-time children. The kit consists of a plain white top and navy shorts. Please make sure all clothing is labelled! The children will be changing themselves and kits get missed up so easily!

Snack money is now due; the first half term consists of 6 weeks so it will be £6 for the part-time children and £12 for the full-time children.

Parents evening will be rearranged once I have spoken to Miss Haines, sorry for any inconvenience caused with having to change the dates, however the sickness bug hit my house which left me with no choice but to rearrange!
I hope you all had a fantastic Easter; I am really looking forward to catching up with the children. Thank you for your continued support this year, enjoy the rest of the holiday!

Mrs Tucker and the Nursery Team.
