How exciting that we are expecting lots of snow! Here is work that you can do at home whilst making the most of the snow!
1. Make a snowman, but not an ordinary snowman... one standing on his head! Please take a picture and send it to school when you get chance, I can stick them in their books.
2. Take a cup of snow into the house and see how quick it melts in the warm. Explain how the snow turns into water and put in the freezer to turn into ice. You could even make ice decorations to hang from the tree.
3.Find 10 stones and put them on the snowman for his buttons. Practice counting up to 10/20 forwards and backwards.
4. Pracitce writing their name using 'Peter Pointer' in the snow! If you have glitter in the house you could make your name sparkle.
5. Most importantly have lots of fun with your family, I can't wait to hear all about it!!
