HAPPY
NEW YEAR!
I
hope you have had a fabulous Christmas and a healthy and happy new year. The
time certainly flew by.
Our
topic for the Spring term is "Family Fun”. We will be learning about animals, their
young and their habitat. We hope to arrange a trip to Cefn Mably Farm to
enhance our topic.
As
well as topic related activities we will also be completing seasonal and
cultural activities. We will start with Winter, and then, weather permitting
move on to Spring by the end of the term. We will be celebrating Chinese New
Year. 2015 is the year of the Ram and this year it is to be celebrated on
February 18th. We will also be completing activities associated with St David's
Day and preparing for our own Eisteddfod in school.
I
will continue to give fortnightly bulletins about what is planned for the
children so that you can discuss with your child what they have done in school.
Don't
forget, snack money £12 is now due. Prompt payment would be appreciated.
The
PE list can be found on the window at the entrance of the Nursery, I have
changed it slightly so please check to see what day your child will be
participating. Just
to remind you, we start our registration time just after 9.00am. In order to
achieve this, we kindly ask that you say goodbye at the self-registration table
in the morning and leave promptly.
As always, if you have any concerns please come
and see myself, Mrs Vowles, Mrs Haslam or Miss Northway.
Ps. Don’t forget Monday 5th is an INSET
day so I shall see you on Tuesday 6th J
