We have been really impressed with all the children settling in so well this week. They have settled into their new routines and they enjoy playing with their new friends!
This week we have started our new topic 'Near, Far, Wherever you are'. This topic will take us to Christmas and we will be focusing on our Geography skills.
This week we had a little visitor from Neverland, but first we had to follow the clues in our school to find him. It was very exciting!
We now need to help Peter Pan get back to Neverland but unfortunately his magic dust does not work so he cannot fly. We will be looking at different transport to get him back and focusing on his journey. What places will he see along the way?
We also took part in our first Welly Wednesday. The children loved exploring the school grounds and they discussed what they could see, hear and touch. We used magnifying glasses to look at autumn leaves and pinecones.
