Week beginning 14/09/20

 Bore da,

What another fantastic week the children have had at Nursery. They have all settled really well into the Nursery routines and have enjoyed exploring their new classroom.

We would normally post photos weekly to show you what they have been up to, however we are still waiting on photo permission slips to be returned. Keep looking out to spot your little one learning in school!

As of this week the children will be attending Nursery 9am until 1pm.

Here is some important information for you!

Snack

Please can your child bring their own healthy snack to school. Please can it be clearly labelled and placed in a container or bag, to prevent other children touching it directly. Even if the snack is a banana, it will need to be put into a sealed food bag with a name on it. Before the children eat their snack they will be washing their hands ready to collect it and eat it at a table.  Outside the classroom there will be a labelled snack and water bottle box. Before you enter the class please place your items in the correct box. There will be 2 boxes; 1 for A-L surnames and 1 for M to Z surnames. To help the children with this system, A-L will be a hedgehog and M to Z will be a squirrel so they can look for this image when dropping off and collecting their items.

The children will also be offered milk during snack time. If you do not want your child to drink this, please can you specify at the door.

Lunch

This week the children will be staying for lunch. They will go into the main dining hall to eat it. We will be there to support them this week alongside the lunchtime supervisors. This will take place at 12pm.

Here is the menu.

The dinner will cost £2.55 per day. Over the next week you will be given a unique number which allows you to pay for these online. However if you wish to bring in a packed lunch that is also fine. The children will need to tell us each day what option they are going for.

Spare Clothes & Wellies

Please can your child bring in a spare set of clothes and a pair of wellies. These can be left on their peg until October half term. Please can you make sure all items of clothing and the wellies are clearly labelled.

Letters

Please can you ensure that the contact information and permission slips are returned to the school office as soon as possible.

The One Page Profile sheet which was handed out on Wednesday will need to be returned this Wednesday. If you need any support with this, please just ask at the door.

Please check the class and main blog pages regularly for important updates.
