As part of our topic 'Love where you live' next week we will be talking and learning about Dydd Gŵyl Dewi- St David's Day.
We will be looking at the different celebrations for St David’s Day and learn about Wales and what's it like to be Welsh. We will be looking at different emblems of Wales. The home task is going to be to decorate a Welsh Daffodil which will go up on our display wall.
You can colour the daffodil by using colouring pencils, paint, glitter, tissue paper or felt tip pens.
When you are helping your child with the task can you talk to you child and ask questions such as -
What are you colouring in?
What size is the daffodil?
What colour are you using? Or in welsh-Pa lliw…? Melyn, gwyrdd
What is so special about the daffodil?
Please could they be returned and by Friday 22nd February
St David's Day photos are being taken on 22/02/19 for the newspaper. Please can your child wear welsh costume/clothing for this day.
