Dear Parents,
I hope you all had a great
weekend. This week we will be continuing activities based on animals at the farm.
Home Learning Task for Nursery children
This week I will send home the
children’s home learning books. Inside will be a sheet that will need to be
complete. The aim of the task is for the children to practice writing their
name. Every child’s pencil grip and mark making skills develops at different
stages, however by providing opportunities to ‘write’ will encourage children
to develop their physical and fine motor skills. Happy writing!
Home Learning Task for Pre Nursery children (Tiddlers)
Please could you and your child create an ‘All About
Me!’ poster? Learning at home can be just as fun as learning in school so
please make sure you involve your child with the creations, the more input they
have the better as they will be discussing the posters with the rest of the
class. Be as creative as you like, it can include lots of pictures, drawings,
birthday celebrations, siblings, pets, favourite colour etc. Please can all
posters be brought into school by 15th February; I am really looking
forward to seeing them!
Full-time Education
Nursery Children
The full-time children will be taking part in P.E
every Monday afternoon. Please can you send to school P.E kit including a plain
white top and navy shorts? The kits can stay in school and we will send them
home regularly for washing.
Thank you for your continued support, if you have any
questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
Mrs Tucker and the Early Years Team.
