Happy New Year!

A hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and a very happy new year to you. I am so excited to hear all about it tomorrow. A big thank you for the lovely gifts we received at the end of term, we were well and truly spoilt!

There are a few changes to this term, we have some new children joining the class so a very big WELCOME to you. I am really looking forward to getting to know you and your child throughout the year.

The children who turned four before Christmas will now be staying full-time with Mrs Vowels, and myself. The children will need to be picked up from the infant yard at 3.30pm.

There will be a slight change to the staff in the nursery, Mrs Lewis sadly won’t be joining us as she has a new job role in the school.
Miss Gunnion and Miss Hollyman will be joining us, they have both worked in the nursery before and know the children very well. I am sure you will join me in wishing Mrs Lewis all the best in her new job role!

The topic this term is ‘Family Fun’, however we will start the first week off by learning all about winter. Please ensure your child has a warm coat in school, as we will be continuing with lots of outdoor learning. We will also be continuing with RWI, I will be assessing the children on their sound knowledge this week.

Snack money is now due! This term consists of 7 weeks so the cost for the part-time children will be £7 and £14 for the full-time children.

Last but certainly not least, a very big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Fraser who turned 4 in December.

If you have any questions or concerns, you can make an appointment to see me at a convenient time. Thank you for your continuous support, by working together allows us to provide the best for your children.

Miss Day
