First Week!

We have had a fantastic first week, the children have been coming into class happy and are already used to the school routine. We have been doing the register every morning, sitting still on the carpet during story time and trying our very best not to chat on the quiet carpet! For the first few weeks I will be carrying out the Foundation Phase Profile Assessment, however we do have a few Roald Dahl activities planned for next week. The story we will be focusing on will be ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’, I will tell a short version of the story as it is quite long, however if you have a chance to watch the film over the next few days then that would be great!

Activities will include-

·        Roald Dahl themed writing patterns

·        Roald Dahl game of bingo

·        Make a Willy Wonka tasty surprise

·        Design and make their very own GOLDEN TICKET!

To finish the celebrations, can you please dress your child up as a character from a Roald Dahl book, any questions, please just ask!
