Welcome back! I hope you all had a great
Christmas and managed to spend quality time with your loved ones. A HUGE thank
you from all of us in the nursery for our lovely gifts and cards, we left
school feeling very spoilt!
2016 is going to be a very busy year
with lots of new changes. We have 5 new children joining the class so I will
start by saying a very warm welcome to our new parents! I am really looking
forward to getting to know you and your child. The first 2 weeks we will focus
on settling and getting to know your child. Once they are settled and confident
in their new environment, we will begin to introduce short tasks. Any questions
or concerns, please just ask!
The children who turned 4 before
January will now be staying for full time education. A letter was sent home
with information regarding the changes before Christmas. If you have any
questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Just a reminder that the door opens at
8.55am, I understand that mornings can be very hectic but can you please try
and arrive on time as this allows us to start the morning session promptly.
Our topic this term is ‘Mini Zoo’, however we will
start the term by learning all about winter! We will be reading lots of winter
