Room on the Broom!

Only one more week till half term! Wow where has the time gone? Now the children are all settled could you please make sure all toys are kept at home.

This week and the week after half term all activities will link to the story ‘Room on the Broom’. Our party will be held on Thursday 22^nd. Children can come to school dressed up as a character from the story or they can wear party clothes. We kindly request a donation of £1 to cover the cost of the party food, thank you! We will ALL do P.E on Tuesday this week.

Activities will include….

·      Hot seating the Witch to develop questioning skills

·      Circle time- if they could use a magic wand would they use it for?

·      Create a spell in a bottle (Please can the children in bring in a plastic bottle with a lid)

·      Use cooking ingredients to make a witches hat

·      To develop number recognition & counting skills

·      To recap RWI sounds (m,a,s,d)

·      To learn new RWI sounds (t, i, n, o)
