Please ensure that the children all have sun hats with them whilst the weather is as hot as this. They also need to have sun cream on before they come to school, we will then top up the sun cream throughout the day.
This week we will be doing lots of practise for sports day - don't forget Foundation Phase Sports Day is on Friday afternoon.
Activities we will be doing are related to the story 'Lost on the Beach', they include:
- Discussing the importance of keeping safe at the beach
- Making teddy bears out of paper clay
- Sequencing the story 'Lost on the Beach'
- Weighing seaside objects and predicting which items we think will be heaviest and lightest
- Make a boat that floats - choosing the most appropriate material
- FOREST SCHOOL - make a home for teddy
