READING AROUND THE WORLD

Do you like to read? How often do you read? Why not keep a track of how much reading you do in your new Reading passport!
All of the children in the nursery will be issued with a passport tomorrow. Every time your child reads for 10 minutes, whether this is in school or at home and this can also include parents reading your children, then they can mark off a circle on their passport. We will keep track of every child's reading progress on a large map in the hall. When children reach certain destinations, they may be asked to complete a postcard and return it to school. Not every child will complete a postcard, every time they reach a destination. When they have read around the world then they will be issued with a certificate.
Come on Penygawsi, let's see if every one of you can read around the world this year!!!!
