Until half term, the activities we complete in school will be related to the story. 'Cinderella'. We will be discussing how Cinderella was unhappy and what happened to make her happy. Our activities include:
- Making pumpkin biscuits
- Matching clothes to prince and princesses
- Circle time - how to make friends happy
- Listening to different kinds of music - choosing happy music and explaining why they think it makes people feel happy
- Day and night. Children will look at images of things that happen in the day and night, the. Children will be encouraged to sort them
- Cutting activity - children will be encouraged to hold and use scissors correctly and cut pieces of paper to decorate Cinderella's dress.
- Writing invitations to Cinderella's wedding
We will complete our activities with a party to celebrate the Wedding of Cinderella and Prince Charming. Children are able to come to school in party clothes on Friday 25th October. Parents and grandparents are invited to join us at 1.30 pm to listen to some of the songs we have learnt since starting school. More information to follow.
Our Colour Table this week is red. Please encourage your child to bring a small red item into school.
