Welcome back!
An unusual start to the beginning of term but hopefully things will return to normal next week!
The staff of Class 1 would like to thank you all for the Christmas gifts. They were very much appreciated.We hope you and your children had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year! For those that were unable to collect Christmas craft and presents before Christmas, they are safely in school and are waiting to come home. Unfortunately, Rudolph will have to wait until next year for his school made food!
Our topic for this term is 'Precious things'. We did manage to ask some of the children what they considered 'precious' on Tuesday morning. Some of the responses I had are listed below:
Family
Stars
Toys
Teddies
Parties
Throughout the term we will complete activities related to these responses, along with anything else that they think of during the term.
Our role-play area in the classroom this term is a toy shop. If you have had enough of playing outside in the snow then we would appreciate any home made toys that can be pinned to the wall of the toy shop or hung from the ceiling
We would also like to include any photographs you have taken of the children and any snowmen they have built over the last few days on our winter display. So please send a copy of them in.
May I remind you that snack money of £5 is now due. We would appreciate this in promptly.
We hope you have had fun over the last few days - we have! Although we do hope to see you very soon.
